Simple Ways to Feel Better
  • Every day, write down 10 things you are grateful for.  It can be the same 10 things or different things each day.  The purpose of doing this first is to put you in a positive state of mind as you start your day.  You can be thankful for anything.  I start with the loved ones in my life and work from there.  For example, on hot days, I am super thankful for Air Conditioning!!
     

  • Drink more water
     

  • Take a 30 minute walk at least every other day
     

  • Take Essential Fatty Acids daily
     

  • Take a Multi-Vitamin daily
     

  • Take 1,000 mg of Vitamin C daily
     

  • Wash your hands often to prevent getting sick
     

  • Incorporate more and more vegetables and fruits to your diet
     

  • Watch your carbohydrate intake.  I won’t eat anything that has more that 20 grams of carbs per serving.  If you do eat something high in carbs, eat a much smaller portion than is usual for you
     

  • Watch your fat intake.  Don’t eat foods where more than 50% of calories come from fat
